‘What you can achieve in 4 days can be phenomenally powerful.’Jamie
This is a business event like no other. The schedule is sequential, structured and relaxed. Offering you the chance to get away from the office for a few days, rest and refocus.
Curated by our excellent facilitators, the mornings are filled with informative talks, workshops filled with strategies, tips, techniques, group exercises and discussions focused around the theme of each day.
After lunch take the opportunity to rest, relax. Maybe go for a walk, relax in the lounge, enjoy the view with a cup of tea and maybe some cake. The free time is for you to take some time to yourself, reflect on the morning workshops, note down ideas, chat with others or even book a 1 on 1 coaching session with our experienced facilitators.
We have a workshop session in the afternoon to check in with everyone, discuss progress as a group and answer any questions you might have. There is also the option of specific breakout group sessions in the afternoons around any topics which are prevalent in the group.
Time to enjoy some much needed “down time” and socialising. With all this work, it’s time to chill. We will enjoy a delicious dinner, drinks, great conversations, a few laughs and relax together.
‘I know exactly what I want to do and I’ve never felt like that before. Ever’Sarah
The facilitators will be curating the workshops and discussions throughout the event. Additionally, they will be available for 1on1 sessions and groups discussions in the afternoons throughout the retreat should you have any specific needs.

I built my successful estate and letting agency in Scotland for over 7 years. I grew it from a small portfolio of rental properties to a three office, market leading enterprise with an amazing team of staff. But my life was elsewhere. My friends and family were all near Cumbria and after nearly a year of running my business and living between two homes (with a 8 hour round trip in between), I had to make a hard decision.
After a lot of deliberation, I decided to sell my business.
If you really knew me, you would know I love to help other people. I love to make the seemingly impossible tasks, possible. We all know WHAT to do but do we know HOW to implement it successfully. That’s where my knowledge of the HOW of change comes in.
The work I do helps people really enjoy running their work and businesses again. I take away the headaches and implement the systems that give them more time for the things they love – outside of the office! Because that’s what life’s about, right?
None of us will wish we spent more time at the office.
That’s why I created Gen-i, so I could offer my knowledge and experience to help business owners get back to enjoying their work, avoid burnout and grow efficient businesses. I work as a business consultant, helping companies ranging from start-up to established business with HOW to implement change and improve their business operations. I help you identify WHAT needs to change, ensure you select the right solutions and strategies and then show you HOW to implement change successfully into your business.
My Goal: We all know WHAT we need to do but the majority of the time, we miss the vital component…..HOW to make change happen. I won’t just tell you WHAT you need to do, I show you HOW to make change happen. This is how I help business owners improve their business operations for the long-term, so they can grow their businesses AND have more time to focus on the things they love both inside your business and at home.
My Gen-i Retreats do this
…but in a single weekend
Born from a knowledge that many of us struggle to get away from the office for a few days to work on the important ‘big’ goal work and actually IMPLEMENTING those changes. So, I created Gen-i Retreats to bring people away from the office for a few days to rest, reassess and refocus on your goals and give you the all important framework for HOW to implement it. We combine amazing accommodation, food, location with incredible workshops, speakers and facilitators to share skills, tools and insights, helping and support you to finally make those important changes!
‘I’m even more optimistic about what my personal and family life is going to be like as a result of this.’Jamie
