Community Guidelines

Our community is so important to us. Through subscribing to the Gen-ius Journal Subscription you agree to adhere to the Community Guidelines outlined below.

These are really important to us and any breach of these Community Guidelines will result in your subscription being cancelled with immediate effect, solely at our discretion.

Companionship – This community is all about doing this together, making change happen together. Share experiences, engage with others, support each other. The more you put in the more you get out! Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

Momentum – Maintaining momentum and motivation is key to making long lasting change. Completing your Gen-ius Journal will take time and effort on your part. This is not a 1-on-1 coaching program, you will need to do the work.

Enhancing NOT Fixing – There is no answer for all of us. Journaling is incredibly personal, we are looking to enhance those parts of you we know are there, not fix anyone. Your journaling journey will be unique. Please NO spamming, coaching advice or self-promotion in the community.

Kindness – Be kind, we don’t know what is going on in others’ lives and so always interact with kindness and compassion. Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group. Please keep comments positive and encouraging.

Integrity – Do the right thing even when no-one is watching – if you say you are going to do something but don’t manage to complete it, that’s OK, but be honest about it. Group accountability only goes so far!

Commitment to Action – Commit to the material – journal honestly and comprehensively. The only way to uncover the best ways for you to make change happen is to understand why you want the change. Sometimes questions can be interesting, triggering, make you feel uncomfortable but see this as a sign-post to a ‘gem’ you are about to uncover!

Contribution – You are part of this process. Once you have been journaling for a while you can help guide others. The more tips and insights we share the more we help others in their journal journeys!
